A revisitation of a design first used on a vintage varsity jacket - the Benguiat Script Logo hoodie and totes showcase an illustration by the late type designer Ed Benguiat from 2008.

Arisman Tribute Apparel

Inspired by a vintage promotional t-shirt found during a visit to the SVA Archives - this project pays tribute to late artist, illustrator, and chair of the MFA Illustration department Marshall Arisman.
The front of the merchandise features his frequently used saying “Follow Your Bliss”, while the back showcases his iconic monkey illustration from the renowned 1974 SVA subway poster.
Accompanying the illustration is a tagline written by his wife and collaborator, Dee Ito.
